Correct, haven’t said anything on here in a while as previous comments got shut down... but IMO still are valid, who’s doing the strategic thinking? Was the change in management an indication that we’re having a ‘good go’ at this league as I have no doubt we would of stayed up with MC in charge  or are we complacent to be one of the smaller clubs in the league both budget and infrastructure wise? Time will tell..

Have to agree, an underwhelming appointment.

I feel the board have no sense of direction and are somewhat contradicting themselves. For example, Neil mentioned on BBC Wilts that he would take time to appoint a new manager and Gary can fill the gap in the interim. Also mentioned it’s a bonus, appointing somebody at this time of the year to enable them to build the full ‘package’ come next pre-season. (disagree with that statement however). 

Fast forward a few days and we now have a ‘Caretaker Manager’ - which alone doesn’t scream longevity, confidence or backing to create this ‘Package’ Neil mentioned. Worrying time’s at CTFC, not sure there has been any strategic thinking with the club/community/fans in mind.

Haha! Would have to agree this looks very much like self promotion.
