Can’t get too over excited or disappointed with any result from this competition. Nice to win it but it’s pretty meaningless in the scheme of things. Most clubs at our level put little emphasis of their respective county cups.

Fantastic second half, some real class goals. Atmosphere was really good in second half, first half when we was shooting towards the school end could hear a pin drop. Luke Haines goal was a special strike. Shame to see an overweight bald fan have a violent incident with a Welling player outside the tunnel, with the supporter waiting outside the tunnel for the player, really not needed and saw various people filming, hopefully won't see him at future games if that is how he behaves! Do we dream of a late playoff push?

Leave Donk alone

If you think his behaviour was acceptable will leave it at that but in my opinion was embarrassing and I can't defend it in this case.

Didn’t see anything so can’t comment. But would say Welling were a horrible bunch, so not going to lose much sleep over it.

Great result against a side inform, lovely to get a result against what must be the mouthiest manager in the league and his side line crew.
He just didn’t shut up, I’m sure players can’t take in all those instructions.
Keeper spent most of his time off his line and got caught out at least twice.

Excellent performance, made Worthing look very average, who if they don’t turn this blip around could see themselves dropping out of the competition playoff positions.
Been waiting for that performance at home for a long while, we’ve been shouting for us to play two up front for a long time, while the blue tinted brigade defended it week after week, what did we do today? I rest my case.

Great news, love Freddie.
Also one to look at for next season, especially if Merthyr don’t go up, is Ricardo Rees, ex-Bristol City Striker, 24 years old and has scored 27 goals this season and 19 last.
Based out of Newport.

We are a totally different Team when we play away....why?
Yeovil had most of the possession, we were happy to soak up the pressure and hit them on the break. Had a couple of half chances half but not much more. we defended very well.
Apart from the goal only remember Yeovil having one shot on target first half.
Second half panned out much the same, still guilty of playing the ball back too much but that's probably being overly critical.
Scrappy first goal for us but the 2nd and 3rd were class, playing 2 upfront changed the game, McClure was calm and Fas always a willing runner.
Thought Will King had a good game in midfield and Jordan Young was rubbish, so many missed placed passes.
Lovely setup at Yeovil.
Now to turn in a decent home performance.

You hit the nail on the head it not just the supporters, it is the club in general. As you say having to go to ground or send a SAE for a season ticket. I appreciate what Neil does for the club but they need someone younger in there as well like Simon Lawrence or someone who has a grasp of modern football and is not stuck in the past. Seems the club is afraid of modern football/technology.

It's an old boys club doing things in same ways in an evolving world, which they seem to want to bury their head in the sands. We are one of only clubs in the league not to have online ticketing. That why I say it going downhill, they are not changing with the times. We are one of the only clubs in league who do not give their players squad numbers as well, another 'old school tradition'. We are no longer in a world where take your money and have no sort of incentives or initiatives is acceptable, people expect more. The club need to get a grasp of the modern game.

Hence why we are one of the local clubs with stagnant or dwindling crowds, every other SW club at this level have increased their crowds…yet we have not.
Virtually every other club allows online ticket purchase with many offering discount if purchased in advance.
My understanding standing is that Baths supporter liaison Officer sent an email to CTFC regarding this matter and others experienced at the Boxing Day shambles….they never received a response!!
WSM had over a thousand yesterday, Slough and Taunton(before postponements) regularly get over 750.
Like I said before, the club never ask for help, it’s a very in closed family.
Its frustrating because all of the above thoughts/comments have been raised before over the

Not great value on a season ticket £320!! Or £300 early bird.
Forest Green Rovers are only £323 and Swindon £370.
Just not value for money, 4 match discount. For example 23/24 prices, Dartford this season offered theirs for £256, 11 match discount.
Worthing £245.
You asked for feedback on ideas on how to increase crowds…well this is not one of them.
Club just not in tune with its fan base…not at all.

Have to agree with what joiner said. It was a bizarre team selection. We played Spokes and Owen-Evens as wide players but they are not wingers and all too often the ball make its way back to the keeper.
2nd half when Johnson and Williams came on things slightly improved.
I don’t think we had a shot on target for 70mins.
Loads of possession mind but all in our own half, crowds dropping, no atmosphere or entertainment.
