I've been informed that former Frome Town, Melksham Town, and Chippenham Town manager Darren Perrin is back with the club in some official commercial director/manager capacity?
Very interesting given that DP has just finished serving an FA ban.
"Darren Perrin has admitted 6 breaches of FA Rule E3 for misconduct during his time as Club Chairman at Melksham Town FC. An independent Regulatory Commission imposed a Suspension from All Football for a period of 6 months, to 28 May 2025, and a financial penalty of £250."
FA Rule E3, specifically E3.1, covers improper conduct, including violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent, or insulting words or behavior. It also covers actions that bring the game into disrepute. A breach of Rule E3.1 can be an "aggravated breach" under E3.2 if it includes a reference, whether express or implied, to ethnic origin, color, race, nationality, religion, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, or disability.

Great to hear. Always nice seeing DP around the ground occasionally and look forward to seeing him next season.

Good to have Darren on board - his contact list is extensive and that’s already apparent with the attractive pre-season games lined up at the TSS.

Great to see Darren back involved with the club! 👏🏼Anyone who knows Darren knows how much passion and dedication he brings to local football, and especially to Chippenham Town. His experience, knowledge of the non-league game, and huge contact list speak for themselves. You only have to look at the exciting pre-season games already lined up to see the kind of impact he’s having behind the scenes. Welcome back, DP – onwards and upwards! 💙

Well I'm assuming he's not employed by the club, or they would have published it.
Obviously just a rumour with no substance. I'm guessing the board didn't want the baggage.

Looks like a couple of new posters might have an ‘agenda’. Move on folks.

Perhaps the same courtesy of 'moving on' could be extended by the club to some of the supporters who have been subjected to lengthy bans, and in one notable case, a lifetime ban. Like DP, it could be argued, they've served their punishment.

No agenda from me. Purely asking a question to see where the club lie with it.
As others have said, bans for some things and not for others.
