National South next season
The new clubs will be:
Relegated from National League: Ebbsfleet United, Dagenham & Redbridge, Maidenhead United
Promoted: AFC Totton, Dover Athletic, Horsham
then one of Boreham Wood or Maidstone United
PS Merthyr Town placed in North

Some big names coming down – Dagenham and Maidenhead in particular will be tough opposition. Ebbsfleet too, depending on how they rebuild. The promoted sides are a bit of an unknown quantity, but Totton and Horsham have momentum and will fancy themselves.Merthyr in the North is wild – feel for their fans with that travel! And the last spot between Boreham Wood and Maidstone could go either way… both would make this division even stronger. It’s shaping up to be a very competitive league next season.
