No activity on here which suggests those who post can't be bothered to keep repeating the same comments after each home game. For what it's worth my opinion of yesterday's game has moved from been awful to just boring and lacking any entertainment at all. Some reasonable individual performances but as a team certainly not! And Chelmsford contributed to that in no small way. Whilst Chelmsford were little better than us they, like most teams we have faced at home this season, at least attacked quickly and in numbers which apart from a couple of games has been sadly lacking in how we play at home. Our build up is so slow that so often by the time we get the ball into the opposition half they have got all 11 players back which means our strikers, or more appropriately striker, are/is battling with little support and hopelessly outnumbered. This is very much evidenced as according to the latest league table there are only 2 teams who have scored less goals and have less points than us at home. 11 defeats at home and failing to score in 9 games at home says it all really. Clearly whatever tactics have been employed at home  have not worked!
Results are of course foremost in our minds and in this respect Gary Horgan has done his job in avoiding relegation but playing attractive football must also be considered and sorry Freddie we have seen little of that this season

How i saw it as well. Also fully agree with the observation that Chelmsford attacked quickly and in numbers. That without doubt was the difference. 2nd half they had runners from midfield, linking up play or looking to get into the box. By comparison, our midfield played in a small zone, keeping their position. It is far too cautious and safe with more emphasis seemingly on shape instead of taking any initiative. As has been said by many posters on this forum - entertaining football is what people who pay their money at the gate want to see. Should be an important consideration at any club.

Unfortunately we've had to put up with too many home games like this one for the last two seasons. Yesterday season tickets went on sale for next year - what an advert! Entertainment sadly lacking, yet again. Something has to change.

Can someone explain why Joe Andrews hasn’t played much recently.Wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t win our last four matches, now that would be a nice way to wrap up the season. As Gary said in his interview it was a typical end of season game with nothing at stake.Pherhaps we should play a few more youngsters as they might be up for it,more than some of the first team players at the moment.

As a guess, I suspect they're trying to protect the kid so not to risk his imminent big move to Peterborough. If we had more at stake, he'd certainly be in the starting xi more often...
