A very tough game. Dartford sit sixth and are a very strong home team. They play at Princes park rated one of the best non league grounds. Another long journey and hopefully a better result and performance from us than our last trip to Eastbourne. I always feel if we defend well we will get a result, as we will always score goals with the players we have. Great to see Nuno and Evans both playing again, they have been missed. We need some more Mark, Tom and the team magic worked at Dartford. Take the draw. Yes. Looking forward to the trip. Off the plane and on to the coach. Good luck to Mark,Tom, Horgs, Jas and the lads. Cum on you Bluebirds. 😎⚽️

Looking like a survival exercise already. Someone said on here weeks ago that our team had a top 10 finish in them, but conceding like this we'll be lucky to finish out of the bottom 5. S long way to go sure so COYB!

And there it is, didn't take long. Fickle fan. Voldemort with the outrageous comment.
Crazy to think how far the clubs come in recent years, personally I was under no illusion on how tough this league would be!
Rather than negative comments on here let's get behind the club and support!

Read the last line! And my previous comments regarding leaking goals. And take your head out of your arse.

"Looking like a survival excersise" - Speaks volumes of your football knowledge, or should I say lack of.

The Lord is obviously not a football person. Survival is a tiny bit premature I feel, I would expect that Dartford along with other London based clubs will have massive financial backing and that helps. I understand no Richards Sandell or Andrews that I imagine would have an effect. Tough trip to Truro next, doesn't getting any easier.

Played ok, but again errors were punished by a side who will finish in the top 3. The new striker from Swindon showed some good touches. An impressive ground with very friendly supporters.

If you weren't there and you would look at the 0-3 score line and think Chippenham were well beaten. But for long periods espesially in the first half we more than matched a very powerful Dartford side. And at times in the first half our passing game was spot on and they struggled to contain us, we had a few good chances with Pratt, Evans and the new Swindon lad Scott Twine. ( who played very well). all going close. We needed to score in the first 30 minutes spell whilst we had them on the back foot. But as has happened in the last few away games. Individual mistakes are being punished as we lost the ball pushing forward and there star man Ryan Hayes bombed forward and sent in a superb cross to the far post where central striker Pavey headed powerfully back across Jared and into the far corner on 26 minutes. We continued to press them back but again were unable to take the half chances that came our way. Going in undeservedly 0-1 down at the break. The second half saw Dartford having more of the ball and Jared made a couple of good saves and very good blocks by Tindle and Jones kept them out. The second killer goal came on 69 minutes. Again an individual era cost us, and with the lively Ryan Hayes calling the tune down the right hand side his pin point cross was slid home from close range by substitute Pugh. Chippenham went three at the back in an attempt to pull something back with Fergie and Pratt going close. But we were caught short chasing the game, with the best goal of the game followed a fast break out with Ryan Hayes capping his man of the match performance smashing the ball across the goal and into the corner making it 0-3. Dartford were a very powerful well organised side, there two big centre backs worked really well as a pair together and gave us very little. They will definetly be challenging come the end of the season. This was not like the Eastbourne game where heads dropped and we caved in. I thought yesterday every player gave his all. Dartford have a very impresive ground covered all the way around, with the roof running all the way around the ground at the same height. There facilities for a club at this level were superb. And with a crowd of not far short of a 1000 really getting behind there team they will take some beating at Princes Park. Yes we are always going to miss Sandells know how up front and Will Richards Pace and quality defending plus his impotant goals. Also Andrews running power and pace. But well done to the whole squad, all in all a pretty good all round performance when you consider the strength of the opposition. A tough long trip to Truro on Tuesday evening where a point would be good. Then the big F A Cup game at Weymouth where if we play as well as we did at Dartford. We will beat them. 😎
