    Scott Twine

    Joins us on loan from Swindon Town.  Was impressed with this lad in the pre-season game against us so will hopefully be a good move for both clubs.

    It is good that we are forging links with league clubs now. With players on loan from Chelsea, Bristol City and STFC, this league is infinitely better than an U23 league to gain experience in adult football. Brian Tinnion from Bristol City was here again on Tuesday against Gloucester City, presumably monitoring Jake's progress. He must be delighted with Jake because he is really putting in a shift for us every game now, and hopefully we will be allowed to keep him for longer than the 2 months currently. Bringing in Scott suggests that Sands may be allowed to get over the niggling ankle injury he has got. Will be an interesting line-up against Dartford tomorrow. COYMB

    It's about time we beat a former Isthmian League team we haven't fared too well against them so far this season (Havant, Braintree, Thurrock) or in previous years... Leiston, Billericay... I see Dartford boast a certain Mr. Tom Bonner... remember him from play off final v Bedford when he cracked that late winner.
