Barwell 0 - 0 Chippenham Town

I reckon that's ok and not expected.

Distinct lack of info and interest on here tonight?

Re: Barwell 0 - 0 Chippenham Town

As usual our normal band of followers went on the team coach. Considering we were without Casey, Kite and Rudgy (who failed a late fitness test) it was a good result, especially to keep a clean sheet. Ben John made a terrific save in the first five minutes, if we had conceeded then, it would have been a difficult night. Barwell had a player sent off quite early on, having been fouled by Ashley he reacted angrily by stamping on Ash. From then on we had a lot of possession without creating any clear cut chances, in the first half there were several great crosses but sadly nobody could get a final touch. In the second half, as the game went on we had the lions share of the play but could not find the net. On the positive side, thats 3 games unbeaten, albeit wthout playing great and with another good chance of 3 points on Saturday away at Redditch.

Re: Barwell 0 - 0 Chippenham Town

I was thinking on reading the result last night on twitter that given the relative form comparison of Barwell and ourselves that 0-0 away mid-week even against 10 men isnt a bad result. Hearing that we were also without vital components of the defence it really sounds like a job well done and from the reports not just the red card which showed that we frustrated Barwell.

A very good result in the circumstances and all credit to those who played!
