Re: Biggleswade Town.

I thought that was a really solid professional performance against a big organised team, and on a very difficult pitch.  There are no weak links in our team and all contributed, and good to see the goals coming from sources other than the front two.  Sands was outstanding, he has that know how and class that makes the difference in tight games, and the duo of Tindle and Richards immense again.  Well done all.

Re: Biggleswade Town.

Just have it won before coming to us as I don't want to see you lot celebrate on our own patch

I have made no secret i don't want you to go up purely as with Paulton last season and seemingly you this year that is 2 of our closest games now gone and the extra crowd of bank holiday games....we noticed it this year with having to play Basingstoke as they brought no fans and things like that keep us ticking over.
Well done though to go 22 or how ever many games unbeaten it is now is incredible at any level especially this one.
To think if we had beat you like we should have think we would have been 3/4 points behind you and now it stands at 24  and we have been doing well lately so shows how clinical you have to be in this league

Re: Biggleswade Town.

A very good workman type performanc against a very well organised Biggleswade side,  who came to do a job on us, and up until Tinds forced the ball home late in the first half they looked like they might do it. You could see why they hadn't conceded a goal in there last four games as they kept a very solid shape and lept us pretty tight.  All credit to Mark and Tom for Playing such an attacking formation with Sands, Andrews and Pratt linking up really well and causing there big robust back four a lot of problems.   Tindles goal opened the game up allowing us more space.  I thought Baggo was again commanding in midfield and capped off a man of the match performance by scoring the all important second goal.  We do look a very good side and the way we deffend and get forward as a unit is very impresive.   It's  was also nice to see the people of  Chippenham finally coming out to support there team.  Well done to Frome. You've done us another big favour. It would also be great to see a large vocal support travel to Hitchin next Saturday to cheer the lads on in a huge game for us.    It would be great to actually become Champions at Frome on Bank Holiday Monday.  What a day that would be.  But we've got to take one game at a time and not get carried away.   Roll on the Hitchin game.  Well done today Mark, Tom and the lads the fantastic run now at 22 unbeaten. 😎

Team played well but the pitch was shocking ..had more bobbles than a Primark jumper after its 3rd wash. At this stage results are all that count but when we are in a league above we need a better pitch

Well done everyone , agree about the pitch as something has to be done.

I hope that something isn't the installation of a 3G pitch.

Re: Biggleswade Town.

Another great result against an inform team. And I dont think the result was ever in doubt. Was comfortable from the 1st minute to the 90th minute.
22 games now. What a run. And more impressive is 14 wins from 15 games.
I agree what people are saying about the pitch and it does need improving. It has a lot of games on it over a season though.
Thinking of this team is it the best of all time? Which players from the past would get into this team? Be interesting because would you drop Pratt for example for Constable? Thoughts?

Re: Biggleswade Town.

Right now, they're the best team we've got. Time to create some history.
