We do seem to turn up for the big games and then take a breather against teams we should be more comfortable against. If we don't end up as champions or worse still miss out on the play-offs, then its games like these that are most costly. Even Collier tweeted last night we had committed a robbery to grab that point via a last minute own goal. I'd prefer to think that sustained pressure forced a mistake.
Sandell and Tindle now back in the team I assume for Saturday

Just watched Mark's interview following last nights game "8 or 9 players below par" "lucky to get a point "" worst performance since King's Lynn"

It obviously wasnt a good performance but we still got a point from it. Were 16 points inside the play offs. We are not going to miss out on that. The league is very tight though. If we would have been offered 4 points from Kettering and Kings Langley before the Kettering game we would have taken it. Specially without our captain and top goalscorer. Stratford on saturday now. Need a win hopefully the bad performance is behind us. Keep chipping away lads.

Disappointed performance, we were lucky to have not been 2 or 3 down in the first half, if it hadn't been for a few great saves from Darren once again. Completely agree with Mark that the majority of the team had an off day. Fergie, Nuno and Darren about the only players who turned up with Joe doing well when he came on. We were better in the second half despite conceding. However a point is better than no points, we must put this game behind us and prepare for another test on Saturday away to Stratford. I am sure Mark, Tom and the boys will react positively, come on boys almost there.

There were points to be dropped 'in the future' and we just did it. But i'm inclined to say its a point toward our final destination, I think our run shows that.
Interesting playoff comment from Stratford, I had a similar though when I was doing my 'February' assessment, but elected not to post it. We could lose almost half our games now and still make the playoffs.

I'm not at all disappointed with a point, especially when you consider the physical toll it takes on the players (and management & staff) to deal with the sheer slog of long distance travel after being at work for a good part of the day. To travel, prepare yourself properly, and then put in a performance against a capable team who are gunning for the league leaders takes some doing.

Well that's from a man who knows! 7 wins and two draws in last nine. Not to shabby, Sandell and Tindle back to freshen up the squad also.
