This will be a big test, espesially if the lads who took knocks on Saturday don't make it. Chesham looked a decent side in the abandoned game back in early December. There form is good they have won four drawn one and lost just one of there last six games. But it's a fair journey on a Tuesday night, again we must start fast and let them Know why we top the league. We need to keep winning. We do look a very solid organised side with a real balance. It will take a very good side to beat us at the moment. Six points from our next two home games would probably see us pull clear at the top. Confidence is sky high and I have never seen team spirit better. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads. š

Last game before Tindle and Sandell suspended. The FA site says banĀ not startingĀ until Sat 11thĀ then both out for 2 games. Quietly confident about this one, although I think they have been a bogey team for us in the past andĀ if we have injuries to contend with too (eg Richards) then a few key players missing for a while.

Just browsing through and was your last defeat 22nd November? That's a pretty impressive run all be it with a fair few draws. A few seem to be slipping up I think it could be between you, Merthyr and Hitchin who seem to be the form teams. Out of our last 14 games left we play everyone in the top 10 so we could have a huge say in where the title goes and who makes the play offs yet. Ā

What a bunch of whingers. Moaning at the ref from the start. He should have shown a few yellows for dissent in the first half to quieten them down. Apart from a wobble in the later bit of the second half after they had made their subs and we couldn't seem to find a pass to another blue shirt and Sandell's stupid unnecessary booking at the end a near faultless performance

What a difference a few weeks makes, and it just goes to show (as Mark made the point) 1 pt gained for each game in the series of draws was vital. We now have chink of daylight at the top albeit Hitchin could overtake us on GIH.
I was looking at the fixtures and also had the same thought as Fromie in that they may have an influence on matters, so I hope thier form is good until about 2 games from the end! That said it's all about the next game - the run in will take care of itself. COYB

Chesham were a decent team, but there down fall was their constant moaning which started from the bench and transmitted to the players. The obscene and foul language directed at the linesman and referee went unpunished, a stronger official would of taken action against them. Once we controlled the game, their bench quietened down. A good all round team performance once again. I think Dan Bowman is getting a better player every game, a good signing.

And so it continues, Mark has created a team the believes in their ability and that have a passion for the game and clearly enjoy winning. You only have to look at their faces that you can see that they all enjoy being in the team. Agree with everything that has been posted about the game. We could have had 4 or 5 with a of the run of the ball, again our forwards get the plaudits but our defence has grown in stature during the season with Tin's being immense, we will miss him in the next couple of games. Roll on Saturday and Kettering, lets keep winning. " We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."
