    No gimmes in this league

    You often hear managers in our league say there are no easy games.

    Last Saturday Leamington 0 6 Slough

    Tonight King's Lynn 5 2 Slough (KL were 5-0 up)

    I know we have had to travel long distances in midweek, but Slough only arrived 35 minutes before ko illustrating the ridiculousness of having a Northern team in the Southern League, but the weak FA and SL allowed KL their request to play in SL.

    Other results

    Merthyr 2 0 Redditch

    Banbury 0 1 Basingstoke

    If two and a half hours is too much of an away trip for Slough they shouldn't be playing at this level. Perhaps they should leave a bit earlier next time.

    Can honestly say I am happy with these results just a shame Merthyr had to get another win but honestly taking a defeat into a game with top of the table Chippenham can't be good for Redditch either
