V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

This is a game we need to take maximum points from. But I have a feeling it won't be easy. We didn't have it all our way when we beat them at there place earlier in the season.  They have lost there last 2 games, but only by the odd goal in both games. And before that they had four draws on the spin. They have slipped down the league to 19 th and are in danger of being drawn into the relegation battle. They will come to Hardenhuish park and sit back and try and catch us on the break.  I don't think the team will be any different to the team that battled so well at Slough last week as long as every one is fit.  It is really important we start fast tommorow and get the first goal. Mark and Tom will have the boys right up for it and they should be buzzing.  Good luck Mark, Tom and. The lads.  😎

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

That was a thoroughly professional performance, right from the off, and the result was never in doubt.  Pratty will grab all the headlines, and rightly so, but Sandell was immense I thought.  Well done all.

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

Only looked like one team was going to win this, we started like an express train and Joe was certainly worth his starting place. Pratty was on fire and Sands worked himself into the ground ( didn't look too happy about being subbed). I know Pratt got MoM but the whole team played out of their skins today not letting Dorchester settle on the ball, The day was made even better with Leamington getting hammered. End of January and top of the league the only thing better than that is end of April and top of the league. Well done to Mark and the boys. " We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

Agree with what was said about Sandell - two inch perfect passes he made were a different class to anyone on the pitch. Probably deserved MOTM but when someone scores 4 goals you couldn't give it to anyone else but Pratt. With Joe now part of the attack we do look like a team that will terrify others. Fergie seemed a bit more at ease too and appears to enjoy playing alongside Joe.

Some pretty strange ref decisions but can't complain because Will probably should have had a red for retaliation near the end which would have taken the shine off the day and lucky to have only a yellow.

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

Come on bluebird fans, we are top of the league have the best 2 strikers in the league and it's all quiet on here. I remember the bad days when we let in 7 against Bideford and that awful evening against Stourbridge. It's a great time to watch Chipp, can't wait for Redditch.

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

I couldn't agree more swayne, we were very impressive again yesterday. The whole side looks very well balanced. Players are getting forward in numbers and are also getting back when other sides attack us. We don't seem to have any weaknesses in the current line up. And team spirit is sky high. Yesterday we started so fast, if you were a Dorchester player you would have feared the worse. And the foot never came off the pedal for the full 90 minutes. Joe Mac looked a class act and we still have Matt Smith to come back in. He has been one of our best performers through out the season. Things are looking very good at the moment. As is swayne, I am looking forward to the Reditch game next Saturday. There a team that has had the better of us over the last 2-3 years. But we now have there best player. It may well be different this coming Saturday. Well done Mark, Tom and the lads. A great performance.

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

Great result and four fantastic goals. This game deserved a bigger crowd but so does our general performance this season.
Dare I say despite the previous statements I have seen a more polished display from the team but without the impact of this result. I will happily take this scoreline !

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

I think the biggest compliment paid from our performance on Saturday was from the match officials. As I'm sure you all know the wife and myself feed the officials after each home match, and they all agreed that this was the most polished performance by anyone they have officiated in the SPL this season. To be honest I thought 4-0 flattered Dorchester, who look a shadow of previous DTFC teams I have seen. From the first minute they were chasing shadows, and had no answer to our 3 pronged attach. Joe Mac looks a different, more mature player than when he played for CTFC previously, and was a constant thorn in Dorchester's side. Fergy looked a different player as well, and seemed able to create more space for everyone. This performance was a statement to the rest of the SPL that CTFC want that first position, and I honestly believe it will take an immense team to stop us now. The whole squad is bubbling with confidence, and it is a pleasure to watch. Got mine and the boy's seats booked on the coach for Saturday's visit to Redditch. They had a representative at the game who was stood very close to me, and he had a very strained and worried look on his face at the final whistle,  muttering something along the lines 'Oh my God' - I wonder why !!!!  COYMB

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

I feel this coming month is huge. Looking at our fixtures and the teams around us I feel anything over 13 points over the 6 games will keep us top. The lads have been terrific and I wouldn't be surprised if we went and got more than that. Anything more I believe will create a gap. If we can win 5/6 and stay unbeaten that will see us with 79 points at the end of February. Players everywhere are making themselves count. It truely is great to watch.

Re: V Dorchester Town Home Tomorrow.

Great result! You cant beat a 4 goal win even if it is a team who'd conceded 50 goals before Saturdays game.
The table is as tight as Simon Mains wallet, with a handkerchief covering the top 5. It's there to be won this time around I think. COYB.
