George, all your statistics and thoughts are very interesting as always, but you have missed an extremely important and valid fact, that currently we are not playing like the team that started this season like a hurricane, sweeping every team aside with fast flowing on the deck football, nor like the team that swept Poole Town aside in the FA Cup with arguably our best performance of the season so far, nor like the team who if it had not been for the heroics of their goalkeeper would have scored double figures against Cambridge City. The point you have missed is that currently there is no competition for places which creates complacency. In my view we need a minimum of 3 quality new players, one of which must be an attaching midfielder, a no nonsense sh*t house size central defender, who kills strikers for breakfast, and another striker to put pressure on the current front two guys. Agreed we are 7 points behind Leamington with games in hand, but it's the old 'what-iff' scenario that if we had taken maximum points off Biddleswade and Cirencester, which we should have, then 7 becomes 3 points behind with still 2 games in hand. This is purely my own thoughts on the current situation, as like everyone connected with CTFC, I want us so desperately to get promoted out of this wretched SPL and prove ourselves at National (South) level, which I feel certain we will with the set-up we have. Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

So he move out Richards or Tindle then. What if by the way (Toyboy ) we hadn't got three goals in 5 mins at St Ives (no points )Leamington keeper not sentoff( no points )

Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

I think the main point is, can we get our early season form back? Frome made us look pretty ordinary

Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

True we haven't been steamrolling teams, well ... we're still knocking the goals in despite that, so   im only looking at the next 3 points. Saturday should be interesting.

Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

According to Cirencester Twitter. page their captain Matt Liddiard has turned down an approach from us

Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

They have also signed another striker. Ollie mehew on loan from forest green which means they now have 3 good strikers. I'm just saying!

I saw Griff playing for Cirencester at Frome two weeks ago and , in my opinion, he's a spent force, he was blowing out of his arse after 30 minutes and , probably, for the first time ever he failed to score against us, not even coming close.
As an outsider looking in and it's only my opinion from 27 miles away some of your players are only with you for the cash, why else would Pratt leave Bath City. Sandell came from better things, Both are surely capable, even now of Conference South.
With Frome, we know that the players aren't with us for huge pay days as posted earlier Jon Davies turned down Poole for mega bucks, Kyle Phillips turned down mega bucks to join Weymouth.
We as a club have a small squad but what we do have in bucket loads is team spirit and any amount of sugar daddies cash can't buy that.  Finally, we're not doing bad for a side that was the bookies favourites to go down, are we ?

Griff was immense against us Boxing day - mom.

Try this one!!. I believe that losing Griff was a pivotal point in our season. His love and enthusiasm for this club rubbed off on everyone, not least his teammates. The whole club seems a bit flat since he left if you ask me.

My point Toyboy !

Re: Frome Town. Home. Monday.

It was relevant at the time in my opinion. I'm happy to be proved wrong. On the other hand maybe I provoked a reaction by daring to have an opinion whilst we were slipping down the league at the time.
