THIS FORUM IS SHITE.

You could re-name this forum the Bluebird's Beak and it wouldn't change a thing. Too many posters have fallen by the wayside, just the same as too many fans have stopped going to the matches. Life still goes on, its just a sign of the times. The hardest part is having to live with how things are now and not what they once were. As for the above vote, its hardly constructive and certainly won't help to make anything any better.

Wise words from DB as always ;-) The same could be said for Bath City, and a lot of other clubs. I'm pretty sure they don't get the "traffic" on their forum like they used to.

I knew our education at Lowden School wasn't wasted.
This brings back some happy memories:

That's interesting - disappointed my "Sports Day" incident is not recorded though (whilst attempting the high jump I sat on the bean cane and snapped it in half - a replacement was required from the shed - circa 1966/67?). Also a glaring error at the end. It was re-named St Peter's, not St Paul's which already existed in Park Lane.

No mention either of the troubling case of my missing gloves. It was a particularly cold winter and so my mum packed me off to school with a pair of gloves. I left them in the pockets of my duffle coat, but when I put the coat back on at the end of the day they'd disappeared. I did spot another boy though wearing a remarkably similar pair. When I challenged him, he denied taking them even when I showed him the label my mum had sewn inside with my name on. Having appraised my mum of the facts she then went to the school to repossess them herself, by which time the culprit had cut out the label. Reluctantly he did return them, although he claimed to have mistaken them for his own.

facebook has killed a lot of forums in many different sectors ie music etc - however I do to point agree that this site lacks something - no criticism intended because it does provide a voice for the fans. The word needs spreading so why don't each of us try to promote it to at least one other person and lets get the details up there on Facebook if not already there.
