Re: Merthyr Tuesday

Really good performance from all the boys including the subs that came on, in my opinion Merthyr are the best side we have played this season. Mark and Tom well done, you have built a very good team who have a "never give up" attitude. The boys should be going into Saturday with a lot of confidence. Also it was great to see Mario, seems like a decent signing.

Re: Merthyr Tuesday

I can only see reality in what new fan says and not negativity. Nine completed games since 1st Nov - 2 wins, 3 defeats, 4 draws. Showing concern does not constitute negativity. Now I will be likewise accused no doubt.

Re: Merthyr Tuesday

Prospective please. Every team (Poole last season ) will go through indifferent form. Injuries loss of form suspended players to name a few.

Re: Merthyr Tuesday

If we're scoring two goals or more and not winning games, somethings wrong.

Re: Merthyr Tuesday

New Fan is not being negative, just stating facts like 3 points out of a possible 12, last 4 games, but we are still playing good football.

Re: Merthyr Tuesday

I'd made EXACTLY the assessment of our form that Bluebirds2006 and inthebox have.

Having watched CTFC for a few years now, we often have a dip in form in the dark winter weeks only to recover towards the spring, so maybe not that unusual. However, I am a season ticket holder and want this team to be in playoffs and preferably winning as champions, which I believe we are capable of this year. Our current form suggests otherwise and Leamington are starting to pull away from the chasing pack. I checked the FA site and Tindle is out for the next 3 games (all tough) and Sandell is one more yellow from a suspension by the way, which clearly won't help.

I'm sure Collier is well aware of all this even though we are playing good football at times and showing fighting spirit. A reaction is needed and I'll be there cheering them on and hoping for the best.

What the problem do you think?

Re: Merthyr Tuesday

Ok I'll go first. I think lack of competition for places is a factor. We had it in abundance earlier in the season. Now it doesn't matter if you have a 3 match ban, you will get your place back straight away ??
