V Bigleswade Away. This Saturday.

Another long journey Saturday. Bigleswades home form is very good, it will be a difficult game. They sit just above mid tabble. But if we want to challenge for the league title its a game we need to win. I think there may be the odd change on Saturday. But if every one is still fit it won't be much different. I think we have missed Nuno, his breaks out of deffence are very difficult for the opposition to deal with. And of course we're still waiting to see Mario. Mark and Tom will have the boys right up as we need  the three points as we come into the Christmas period. We need to bounce back after letting Slough away with a point. Although they were a very good strong side. But we have the players to do that. Good luck Mark, Tom and the lads.  😎

Re: V Bigleswade Away. This Saturday.

Just been looking at the leading goal scorers on the Southern League website, and could not help but notice that our Andy is top with 17 goals, followed by two Biggleswade players in second and fourth place. Could be a very interesting game tomorrow !!!  For anyone at a loose end this evening, we have the Christmas Quiz in the Blues-Bar, starting at 7.30pm (ish) - everyone is very welcome to join us.

Re: V Bigleswade Away. This Saturday.

Agree with toyboy and jono, big test for us defensively but more so for them with our attack force. This is a game we could really do with winning to maintain pressure on the teams above us, specially with our game in hand on Slough and with Leamington starting to get away. As I've said before we are missing Nuno since his injury, he is back fit having played for Park last weekend so hopefully he is back with us tomorrow. Also hopefully we will see Mario in action as well, he looked good against us. Looking forward to a reaction from the lads, Tom and Mark.

Re: V Bigleswade Away. This Saturday.

Half time losing 1-0 Tindall and one of their players sent off.  Same team started as Tuesday, and only 4 subs again incl sub keeper.

As well as the sending off, Sandell booked again, that's 3 in 3 could be without him come the new year. No Mario on the bench ?????????????

Re: V Bigleswade Away. This Saturday.

Conceded a last minute 40 yard shot for their equalizer, and Chitty saved a penalty. We must hold on to a lead sometime soon.

Re: V Bigleswade Away. This Saturday.

Why we so concerned about 4 subs. Can only use 3.
