Re: V Slough Town Home.

George, I think this result and performance needs to be put into perspective. Slough are a big old physical team, and the tallest side I have seen at Hardenhuish for a very long time. Agreed when we went 3-1 up we did not look comfortable, and Slough sensed this, and guess what, they brought on 2 more giants to give us more grief, and that is exactly what they did. At the moment I feel we do not have the height or the physic to cope with teams like this. So to gain a point with these facts in mind was no mean feat in my view. CTFC have never been blessed with big guys like Slough had last night.

Re: V Slough Town Home.

I thought it was an excellent game from start to finish.  Had Pratty's effort gone in to make it 4-1 it would have been game over but credit to Mark Scott - great save, considering he was injured.  Had Chitty not saved the penalty (and WHAT a save it was - probably the best I can remember seeing 'live') I'm pretty sure they'd have gone on to win as there was plenty of time left.  Not too disappointed with a point when all's said and done.

Re: V Slough Town Home.

Got to agree Inside, Chitty made two superb saves, the one in the first half was not far behind the penalty save. I thought the ref was poor and very inconsistent, in the first half he was letting the Slough players away without using the yellow card, which they soon realised and continued to foul and pull back our lads as they went past them. In the second half he certainly found his card and was almost overdoing the bookings. We shouldn't be letting a 3-1 home lead slip away, but the balance of the side does not look right at the moment espesially when we come under pressure. Mark and Tom will sort this out quickly I'm sure.  We now have the squad, apart from another striker, but there not easy to find at this stage of the season. As has been said very surprised that we haven't seen Mario yet. I'm sure he would have caused a few of there big lads problems. We go Bigleswade on Saturday and its a game we need to win to stay in touch with the top two. Role on Saturday.
