GRIFF

Gone to Cirencester. Understandable but a shame.

Re: GRIFF

Great. You could have kept hold of him for another few days at least... we play them on Wednesday and he ALWAYS scores against us

Re: GRIFF

A CTFC modern legend. Good luck to him at Ciren, hope we see him back at HP oneday in the future.

Re: GRIFF

Truly a bittersweet moment, A loyal servant, at times a one man show and an all around CTFC cult hero. I am happy that he is going to a club where he is going to be playing more frequently but it is such a shame to see him leaving. What a bloke, at times what a player and I just want to thank you for being such a terrific servant the club I have supported since a lad. But it was the right time. Up there with Iain Harvey as a true club stalwart down the years. Always gonna be a legend Griff

Re: GRIFF

Griff will be missed. He has always given his all for the club and we will miss " GRIFF TIME" 20 minutes from time when as a sub he comes on and  usually livened up the game. I can understand that at Ciren he will get 90 minutes, just hope he does do a job on us when we play them. " We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."

Re: GRIFF

Agree with all the above posts, and a really fitting tribute from The Voice which sums up Griff's contribution to CTFC over the year's perfectly- what a player and a true gent. So where does this leave to squad ? A bit light up front in my opinion if Pratty or Sands take a knock and are unable to play. I wonder if the Manager has someone in mind to bring in ? Thoughts anyone ?

Re: GRIFF

Wouldn't it be lovely if he bagged a hat trick tomorrow? . Definitely a big loss to us, on and off the pitch.

Re: GRIFF

Brilliant servant to the club - shame his knee issues are now taking the edge off his performance levels but still capable of doing a great job. Good luck for the future and many thanks.

Re: GRIFF

A top bloke on and off the pitch. Alway gave his all, nothing was ever left on the pitch with big All. Good luck at Cirencester Griff, except when we play them on Boxing Day.  😎
