Good research, Frome. Yes, it does seem there are inconsistencies in the sentences imposed for what seems to be similar offences. However, we don't know all the evidence on which the sentences were based. According to BBC Points West this evening, the full details of the case will be published next week. We await this with interest!
By the way, what do you think that the Club meant when, in response to the FA Statement, it said: "At a time when grassroots football is on its knees................?A strange thing to say in mitigation, eh?

Throw him in Prison!! How dare he bet!! Naaaa to be fair Bunny messed up here and is clearly aware of it. Sad to see at any level but unfortunately it's hard to feel sorry for someone who ignores the rules and goes ahead with it regardless. We can all say the FA are corrupt and useless and for the most part we would be right, but we are aware that they are so why run the risk? Long and short sad to see Nick out of a job when he has done well for long periods of time and IMHO turned Frome from a team of strugglers into a solid mid table team but if you play with fire there are times you are going to get burned.

This whole thing is pretty damning tbh. Football does not allow any insider knowledge unlike in other betting mediums where in essence they only exist for betting. Namely horses and dogs. There the betting culture is fundamentally part of the culture BUT even there you can only back your horse/dog to win. He may have made mistakes but even in horse/ dog racing this type of action would get you banned for longer than he has been banned.
Couldn't have expected any less imho
