However, we don't know all the evidence on which the sentences were based. According to BBC Points West this evening, the full details of the case will be published next week. This whole thing is pretty damning tbh. Football does not allow any insider knowledge unlike in other betting mediums where in essence they only exist for betting. Namely horses and dogs. There the betting culture is fundamentally part of the culture BUT even there you can only back your horse/dog to win. He may have made mistakes but even in horse/ dog racing this type of action would get you banned for longer than he has been banned.
