V Cambridge City. Home.

We welcome Cambridge to Hardenhuish Park tommorow, they could be a park the bus outfit. Although they drew 3-3 at Stratford last Saturday after battling back from 2-0 down.  They sit second bottom, but there confidence should be up a little after last week. We played them earlier this season and beat them 1-3 at there place. Sandell scored first and Fergie scored 2 quick goals just after half time. They were a very young side with a very physical brute of a centre forward Adewunmi, who should have been sent off when he caught Tindle in the face with an elbow. We need to score early to bring them out and open the game up. We could do with six points from these next two struggling sides, but no one is that easy in this division and if your not right at it you won't pick up maximum points.    Team selection will be interesting tommorow with most of the squad close to fitness.  Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads.  😎

Re: V Cambridge City. Home.

FT. Richards header and the hard working Pratt make it 5-0 in a high energy second half very good all round performance. Three points against Cinderford would be great.  😎

Re: V Cambridge City. Home.

Great result and but for a superb series of saves by the excellent Cambridge keeper the total could almost have been embarrassing. Would also like to say how well John Breedon has performed since his return to the club.

Re: V Cambridge City. Home.

Good people of Chippenham, you don't Know what you are missing. Only 314  turned up to watch what was a great performance from the Bluebirds. Yes, Cambridge didn't offer much in the way of attack but our passing game ripped through their defence time and time again. they gave Sandell man of the match but how can you single out one player in what was a brilliant team performance with every player deserving the award. Great to see Guthrie back but others will have a job to force their way back into the team. I know Felix offers different options than Breedon but he has been solid since his brief holiday at Supermarine. "We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."

Re: V Cambridge City. Home.

Excellent all round performance.  Probably the worst Cambridge City side I've seen but they still have to be put away, and we didn't really take the foot off the gas all game, save for a brief period in the first half where it got a bit scrappy.  Bang Bang wasn't seriously employed in goal as the back four dealt with anything that came their way, the midfield bossed things and Sands and Pratty were far too much for them to handle up front.  Special mention to Horgs, who continues to keep the nations hair product manufacturers in profit and defies his age with energetic performances.

Re: V Cambridge City. Home.

Good professional performance by the lads, looked solid throughout the full 90 minutes. Cambridge were very poor, not looking to ever test our back four, came to the game looking for a draw from the off. Dan continues to impress me, offers options going forward and is solid defensively. Although Beedon has been playing well, he will find it difficult to keep his place now that Nuno is back fit. Very difficult to name a man of the match yesterday as everyone put in a great shift. Well done to Mark, Tom and the boys, super performance.
