Reditch have been a bit of bogey team to Chippenham inflicting a few heavy defeats on us. They have been a good side with a lot of pace over the last few years. They have been a bit stop start this season, but you would expect them to be around the playoffs come the end of the season. It's a game we need to win to keep pace with the top two. It should be a good close game but our confidence is sky high. They have a couple of good strikers but I would expect Tindle and Richards to take care of them. Looking forward to seeing Reeko Best a decent player I'm told and looks to be a very good signing. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads. 😎

Should have won and deserved to but 1-1. Several important stops by their goalie and a truly abyssmal referee who was being assessed and I hope he got a suitably low score.

The assistant referee on the clubhouse side wasn't much good either. Their goalkeeper by my count took 7 goal kicks from outside the 6 yard box. A warning for one is acceptable but the rest should have been indirect free kicks. On one occasion he told the GK to move the ball to a legal position but the next time it happened he did nothing despite it being pointed out to him. It is such a shame that poor officiating seems to be the norm at this level of football and in my opinion leads to players being more likely to deal with things themselves. I really think Sandell would have took that keeper out given a chance after being punched in the face by him in the penalty box with not a word said by any of the officials.Â

Referee very poor for both teams, missing Nuno but another reminder how strong this league is. 3 points Saturday.

I honestly do not think I have ever witness such poor refereeing, which is a shame considering the level of football. Tindles tackle in the first half in the middle of the park, how was it ever a foul I do not know, did he get booked for it? How Sandels head is still on I do not know either, should of been a penalty. On a seperate note, we had so many chances, on another day we would of scored 3/4 goals. Agree with you blueboo, we are missing Nuno, does anyone know when he is back? Anyway onwards and upwards, come on boys!

Game of two halves, as the saying goes!! Chip out played Redditch first half and Redditch played well second half. For some reason Chip could not control the ball in the second half and continually lost their footing, wrong type of stud!
As pointed out ref was fastidious and being assessed did not do his career much good. Their keeper looked good and made many good saves. Good to see Jon Beedon back, but hope Nuno is not far off from returning.

Nuno has been missed, a very good player who has the ability to surge forward and beat his man. He told me Tuesday that he is hoping to be backin the squad for this Saturday. Not such good news on James Guthrie who has ankle ligament damage. 😎
