Agree with Jono - so gutted at the end but what an effort by our boys. Down to the bare bones (where was Scott Lye - not at a wedding surely? ;-) and with no left back we were forced to play 3-5-2 and they were dangerous down that flank, but we held our own fairly comfortably first half. Two strikes of the woodwork in the first 5 minutes was our highlight, then they rattled the bar. All square and everything to play for. Second half they pressed us back and missed three great chances, and we didn't quite have enough going forward to really trouble their keeper, but a stupendous effort by them all. And great support and noise by the travelling hordes - good to see some faces that haven't graced Hardenhuish Park for quite some time ;-) If we can generate that support in the Trophy next week it'll really spur our lads on.

How did you find Whaddon road, I thought the pitch was fantastic and complemented two footballing sides. Good luck for the rest of the season.

My first visit to Whaddon Road. It was good to see Chippenham Town playing at a decent stadium and apart from the result, I enjoyed the afternoon. Prices at Whaddon Road were a little on the dear side though. Entry £12, cup of tea £1.50 and a standard Mars Bar 80p. Do you normally have to pay £12 or was this a case of 'cashing-in.' When we last played you in the F.A Cup there was some unpleasantness on the terraces at both matches. Your fans behind the goal today helped to create a good atmosphere and were a credit to Gloucester City. Knowing our luck you'll get a cracking tie in the first round.

No, £12 is the normal price. £45k a year rent doesn't pay itself!
You definately deserved a draw, but that's the way it goes I guess. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Felt quite at home - didn't realise Whaddon Rd had a slope , not quite as pronounced as HP but a slope all the same. Great surface and a tidy stadium but with still very much a non-league feel to it (reminded me of Yeovil in that respect).
Good luck with the draw. You'll probably get Swindon at home knowing our luck.

Goal and Tigers stuff including a magnanimous interview with Mehew.

A good game, until the sending off. Why oh why when on a yellow already, Griffith makes a stupid tackle in the opposition half in the corner, not a dangerous area at all. Red mist descending too many times for my liking.
I thought very unsportmanship of Glos when two players, one from each side injured in the box, Chip keeper kicks ball out and Glos players refused to return the ball, when Coupe told players to return ball to keeper. That was the only sour moment of the game, apart from conceding a goal in injury time again, in a major cup tie.
With a depleted side we did well against a team from a higher league. Glos number 10 was creating havoc, but did not appear for second half, he did not seem to get an injury!

Is this the point where I remind you of Snoddygate and "mis hitting" a drop kick to your striker instead of out for the injured player to be treated?
What come around goes around etc etc
Nice to see a couple of old faces, hope your backs better today Robin

Its worse than yesterday Neil, probably due to my drug dealer not being on hand.
A high tempo game with both teams going for it, draw would have been a fairer result. Gloucester were always trying to wind up Griffiths, and it work although I thought both card were very harsh. Good luck to Gloucester in the next round and bring on the FA Trophy

Both Coupe who said give the ball back and Hogg who took it realise they were in the wrong re the throw-in, but nothing in the rules for refs to require this. Just a shame an entertaining well-fought game had to turn on that
