    FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round

    Just checked on the FA Website and CTFC have been drawn at home to Leiston, who are top of the Ryman Premier League. A very tough draw but at least we are home. Game to be played 26/11/2016 - COYB

    Im happy with this. I fancy us to beat anyone. We dont well against the side who were 4th in that league with 10 men for 80 minutes. Merthyr game cancelled then which isnt the worst I guess. 2 wins now against Redditch and Hayes&Y at home and then this game. We are flying high. They wont fancy playing us thats for sure specially with the longish trip.

    When I say longish. 214 miles long. Thats a 3 hour 40 minute car drive.

    Think you're getting ahead of yourself Toyboy. The 26th is the third round date the second round is 12th November when we were due to go to Merthyr

    At least they can travel on a Saturday any replay would mean going across London and beyond in midweek

    Sorry not having a very good day - pressed the submit button to soon !!! What I was going to say was that I was just about to phone the wife to say we have another VIP meal to organise on 26/11/16, but of course that is the 12/11/16 now, so we still have another VIP meal to sort out - no peace for us wicked ones !!!

    Leiston have an average gate of less than 250, read in the non league paper that they are very well bank rolled. They put 4 past Hungerford in the FA cup where they suffered their only defeat of the season to Westfields who are in the Midlands Premier but going great guns as they are still in the FA cup. A game to savour win, lose or draw.

    Just down from Southwold. - Adnams Country.  I used to work, or at least my head office, was located in Halesworth. Lovely area. There are worse places to go for a replay.
