Re: V Salisbury City. Away. FA Trophy.

Superb result that in a rather average performance in truth. If we would have been at it i think we would have scored 5/6. But a great result none the less. I thought Will Richards Jones and Pratt were outstanding. Great result and into tuesday now in the league.

Cup football, results are everything. Should be proud of our team.

Re: V Salisbury City. Away. FA Trophy.

Well I for one was again very proud of my team. A difficult game against a pumped up Salisbury side. In front of 900 plus people. A good pay day with £2700 to the winners, plus 40% less expenses of yesterday's takings.  Two cracking goals from Pratt with Will Richard showing his strength and getting the better of his marker and finding the net. It's the sort of game that in previous seasons, after conceding in the first couple of minutes we would have gone on to loose. But Mark and Tom, with the help of Neil and the board have built a team that are made of stearn stuff and know how to win.  Who would you pick in the next round ??   Bishop Cleeve, Taunton, Wimbourne, or even Billericay at home, I reckon we owe them.  Well done Mark Tom and the lads nice to get one over our old cocky rivals.  😎

Re: V Salisbury City. Away. FA Trophy.

What a game, after that 1st minute howler I thought we were going to fall apart just like in previous seasons with big games. But this is a different side with a different attitude and for periods of the game we bossed the game. This is the first time I've seen us play away this season and with the home team looking for a win it more suits our attacking passing game, rather than the teams that come to us and park the bus. The whole team played their part and with Pratt like the Duracell Bunny we were always likely to get something. I would have been happy with the draw but the lads wanted it finished on the day and what a way to silence their fans. " We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."
