Re: Basingstoke Tuesday

Weymouth on the cusp of being abandoned.
Remember Cirencester that's all I can say. Well I say remember, I don't remember any football as I couldn't see it.

Re: Basingstoke Tuesday

Brilliant result - why did I doubt it? Goalie didn't have to do much, we restricted them to long shots. New guy Diaz looks useful and played like he wanted to make that position his own. Silly and unnecessary second yellow for Preece and yellow for Pratt the only negatives, otherwise a perfect hard working team performance to a man. Could and perhaps should have scored more.

Re: Basingstoke Tuesday

Well I doubted to the point of putting my money where my doubt was. But fair play and great stuff by the team who continue, by an large time deliver. Well done all. *grits teeth*

Re: Basingstoke Tuesday

That was excellent.  Richards a class act at the back and Smith played as well as I've seen him play for some time.  Very good all round team performance though. Top stuff boys.

Re: Basingstoke Tuesday

Agree Richards was great.

Knew we would win and it was our night - I won a pint at half time in the bar!

Re: Basingstoke Tuesday

Well I didn't see that scoreline coming an excellent win against an inform Basingstoke. We wanted it more than they did and limited them to a few half chances. The new keeper not really being tested. The new full back had a decent game and looks a good signing. And has been said Will Richards is a class act.  As was the case Saturday 1 to 11 gave it everything. I think we have missed Pook, a very good player who sometimes makes the game look very easy.  Well done Mark,Tom and the lads.  Now bring on the Salisbury.  Happy days. 😎
