Just gotta maintain discipline today and ensure that no matter what we do, we show our class and not the aggressive dirty game they will try and drag us into

Got to agree with The Voice on his thoughts here. We tend to play a different style away from home, and we need to keep all eleven guys on the pitch, unlike the home encounter a few weeks ago. George Nash will be a threat again, so our midfield needs to be strong this evening to cope with his surging runs which caused us problems in the home game. Looking for a minimum of a point this evening, and on our current form I would not be surprised and even delighted if we sneak all 3 points. COYMB

It's all about playing to our strengths when our front two are on I don't think there is many defences in the whole of non league football that could contend with it.

There's no doubt about it Banbury are a decent side, unbeaten in there last six. But we are playing well, confidence is sky high. Would I take a point ? Nah we are good enough to win and we owe them. Good luck tonight to Mark, Tom and the lads.

It was literally a game of 2 halves, first half it was poor with us having a lot of possession but not really affecting them, Felix (who for me was easily man of the match) had a good effort from 25 yards and that was about it. It was obvious that Mark and Tom had serious words at half time as the lads came out guns blazing, dominating the whole half and easily could of score 2-3 goals as they bullied and outplayed them. Collectively we need to play with the same attitude game in and game out, have the opportunity to do great things this season but must be roughless all over. Hope this doesn't come across negative but we desperately need Connor back, as Preece for me is an out and out centre back, he is great in the air but isn't agile enough and often does not make the right decisions. Dunstable Saturday, important 3 points, come on lads!

Agree with Believer in that it was certainly a game of 2 halves. They dominated the first half and we were lucky to go in only 2 down. They were very pacy and their running had us all over the place. Same in the second on the few ocassions they attacked which in fairness was completely dominated by us. In the first half an enforced change when jJames Guthrie had to go off following a tackle. Saw him later on hobbling to the bench and it didn't look good.Start of the second half Preece taken off and Griff on which enable us to hold onto the ball more up front and keep a bit of pressure on them.
Disagree with Believer in saying Felix MOM. Great shot in the first half well saved by the keeper but his passing was a bit wayward to say the least. On quite a few ocassion he, and others, would do all the hard hard in winning the ball or getting into a good position to pass only to finish it off with a sloppy pass ( that's what happened for their second goal).

Thanks Joiner, I do think you are being a little bit harsh, ok he did give the ball away cheaply on 3/4 occasions but going forward, he was handful with his pace and trickery and putting balls in the box. The second goal came from a poor touch by Preece I believe. I do agree with you that quite often we do give away possession so cheaply by trying the difficult passes as appose simple ones, hopefully management will address this sooner rather than later as this has proven to be costly. A reaction on Saturday is needed, come on boys!

Great we go there on Saturday....if they beat you what will they do to us
On the bright side at least we haven't got to play Dorchester again
