Just read report in Non League paper, was Colin Payne at the game?

If I tell you he is the same person who makes all the tannoy announcements at home games it says it all! If like me you watch the games from the area opposite the main stand you can't hear his pre match announcements and so have no idea of the team line-ups and the half time messages.
I couldn't make the game yesterday due to a family gathering but have to admit his report suggests he was watching a totally different game to Jono and other contributors on this forum!

Not aware of that, agree match day announcements are total rubbish, wrong names, wrong times and that's our players. Will stick with Jono and others re match reports, shame though I enjoy the Non League paper.

A thoroughly professional performance against a well set up Stratford Town team in my opinion, with 2 quality goals from Will and Pratty. The first half will not be remembered for being one of our better efforts, but once we got the measure of Stratford and attached them on the flanks, there was only going to be one winner. Pratty's goal would have won 'Goal of the Season' if the game had been on MOTD. This guy just gets better and better as the season goes on, and with Sands as his strike partner, we must have got one of the most deadly duo's in this league. Agree with all the above that you could not single out one individual performance as it was a magnificent team effort - Well Done Boys - Look out Banbury COYMB

Excellent performance against a very resilient opponent. The reaction to Dave Pratts goal was amazing - sustained applause rather than a cheer which resulted from the extreme quality of his run and finish. I don't think we are quite the finished item yet but when are we will take some stopping. Disappointing that only 400 can be bothered to turn up for entertainment of this high quality on a pleasant afternoon.
