I think you should read billericays fans forum. Even they say with 10 we totally outplayed them. The lads were outstanding.
This is the best squad of players I can remember. We are currently 5 points clear inside the playoffs with a game in hand also.
Leamington we completely dominated. Think they had one chance end of the game when they were chucking everything at it. Banbury how we lost that game I will never know. Kings Langley 1st game we drew thought they were very well organised. Kings Lynn was a bad day at the office.
This team I feel will get promotion. The morale looks brilliant the abilty is very good. I think all we need to do is kill teams off more but tbh weve been doing that more aswell.
How about you get your ass of the sofa and have a watch instead of assuming.

Yeh they won against Lemington granted;but didn't they havetheir GK sent off?Strkes me that there is a massive dicipline problem? How many games thrown due to players being sent off?In Prem League terms Chipps are like Everton/West Brom. They put in a good shift, unlikely to go down, but never going to win anything? They'll be chasing a PO place all season, regrettably they aren't too good in pressure situations. Seen loads of these down the years..
"Black and Amber" what's that all about, doesn't seem your a Chipp fan at all, just another time waster posting on here to satisfy your need to wind people up and criticise and undermine every person that has contributed to a great start to the season, if you had been there yesterday you would see why your comments are pathetic.

I've been on the Billericay forum too, and they are overwhelming in thier praise for our team. Including Kent. I also reckon this is the best team we've had for a number of years with the best management.
But tbh. I get sick of being really good but not winning anything. Now take positives by all means but have a good think about shooting ourselves in the foot. Because that's what we do. We talk a lot of previous 'success or otherwise' but this team should be rewriting it, not reading about it.

I might be the Hobgoblin but this Black and amber guy is a Troll just trying to wind people up. We need to keep the faith with Mark and the boys. " We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."

I don't often post a message but thought I had too after reading some recently. This is the best squad of players I have known at the club. In my opinion better than Steve white's and aide mings teams that came so close to promotion. We play attacking football with the best 2 strikers in the league. I see many ex supporters in the town who are well aware of our results but do not come to watch, I urge them to come along. Let's not forget the bad times we had with Steve winter and Nathan rudge in charge. I can't believe the criticism the team got for the performance at billericay, we were the better side for the majority of the match with 10 men and only tiredness at the end cost us.
We are fortunate to have a chairman, board and management team who are desperate to take the club into conference south.
Let's not forget it's an exciting time to be a bluebirds fan.

If you had been there yesterday you would have been proud of the lads.We played for a large chunk of the game with 10 men, we knocked the ball around with power and pace on a descent surface. And even with the 10 men we dominated long periods of the game. Why Matt Jones saw the red mist and dived in two footed just up from the half way line in about the 18 minute only he know. He will have played it back in his mind fithty times today and he knows now how stupid it was. We all know he is not that sort of player. And that he let the team, Mark and his dad down. With our 10 against there 11 it just about levelled things up. Although at times Sandell and Pratt who were superb all afternoon ran there flat footed defence ragged. And even the little group of die hard Billericay supporters that I spoke to after the game admitted that they would have been fortunate to draw the game let alone get the win they did. I am certain if it had stayed 11 against 11 we would have come away with the win. Hopefully Matt will learn from this and become a better player from it. They got there rather fortunate winner in the 94 minute and that felt very very hard to take. Probably the most disappointed I have felt since I have supported Chippenham Town. But we have a cracking squad of players an exellent management team and a Chairman and a board that have put there money where there mouths are to build this squad. I know we will bounce back hopefully starting with the tough trip to Kettering next week. 😎

Totally agree with swayne close. It was only a couple of seasons ago that we went 17 games without a win, I was the biggest critic then but things have come a long way since then and we have a squad that is really going places now. I'm really enjoying this season despite yesterday's setback. COYB !!

Good report Jono😎in one way I'm sorry I missed it. Sounds as we were very unlucky. That's the cup I suppose, club in a good place at the moment and many to thank for that, let's really get behind the Chairman manager and the players,we have a team to be proud of. COYB

Totally agree with Jono's summary of the game on Saturday. Even when went down to 10 men we dominated the game for long periods, and where very, very unlucky not to come away with at least a replay. Speaking to a few of the very welcoming Billericay fans after the game, they all agreed that CTFC were by far the best team they have come up against, so could I suggest that all these so called fans who spout nonsense that we are not good enough, perhaps they should come along to a few games and see for them selves the progress that has been made compared to last season. We will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, when these so called keyboard warriors fans are feed up with running out of ideas on what to criticize about next. What SAD people. COYMB

We lost. We played the majority of the game with 10 men, a situation of our own making. These are the facts. And its a frustrating scenario, hence the moans and venting of spleens. Glass half full or half empty there's no getting away from it.Â
If we are getting a special place in today's draw because we 'played very well, were unlucky, were the best team not to actually win on the day *insert excuse here* etc - Then let me know and I'll tune in.
