Horg's is back
From the club website...............welcome back Gary. Never a hair out of place.
Today we have secured the signature of Gary Horgan. Gary was part of last season's play off winners Hungerford Town squad. Mark Collier said "I am fully aware of the experience and quality Gary brings to us. He can play in various positions and has a great knowledge of this Division. With injuries and player movement I felt an addition to the squad was paramount. His registration has been approved and he will be in tomorrow's match day squad."

Wonder if he still walks around in orthopedic sandles after the game - Odd what you remember isnt it... Welcome back!

Probably George - he must be around 36 - 37 now.
Horgan & Badman were, for a spell, the best midfield 'double act' I can remember pulling on the blue shirt.
Quite often played right back for Hungerford - wouldn't be surprised to see him there for us.

Just checked he's 39 but if he can still do the job he's welcome. If he can't last 90 minutes he'd be welcome to stand with the old boys when he's subbed. "We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want".

If I was a betting man I reckon he will sit in front of the back four as Pook has been doing, since he is injured

Gary will still do a good job for you in whatever role your manager chooses. The last couple of seasons he has been superb , dependable at the back , intelligent going forward , and popping up at corners with the occasional headed goal. He was prone to going down increasingly often, but he gives you not just 100% effort but plays with a smile on his face and is a great character to have around. Good luck to him and you guys.
