On Saturday it's the Magic of the FA Cup. And we welcome Moneyfields FC to Hardenhuish Park. They are a club based in Portsmouth and I have heard that they are a descent side. They sit second in the Wessex Premier League, they have played 6 won 5 and drawn 1. They must be given a certain amount of respect but not to much. It's a game we need to win, everybody at Chippenham would love a really good FA cup run, not to mention the money that would bring in to the club. They will come to us full of confidence believing they can get something from the game, so it is very important that we show them from the start we are a very good side who are top of the Southern Premier League. I know Mark & Tom will have the lads fully fired up and focused. It definetly won't be easy but it's a game we should win. I know people will mention Slimbridge and Paulton, but I would like to think this current Chippenham side have moved on since those kind of results. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads. Let's make sure we're in Mondays draw for the next round 😎

Looks like changes with injuries and Felix away. Preece and Beedon I presume. Where is Miles Jon ?

I would not be surprised if Miles was in contention for at least a place on the bench for tomorrow's game. Watched him play for Chippenham Park last Saturday, and quite frankly he ran the show for them, creating at least 2 of the 4 goals Park scored, and causing all sorts of problems with his pace and trickery. No doubt Moneyfields will have watched us, but they will not have seen Miles, so you never know. Assume John Beedon will be a 'like for like' replacement for Nuno. Not sure how Connor is after being taken off injured against Cirecester.

I must agree with you about Miles John Toyboy, he looks a descent player, what I've seen of him so far he looks a player with a lot of ability and pace. Mark & Tom could have uncovered a little diamond. Time will tell. 😎

We'll what can you say about that 9-0, what a result and some really good football, with goals from Pratt 3, Sandell 2, Griff on as sub 2, Fergie, Preece, on as sub, some cracking goals. Moneyfields just couldn't cope with Chippeham sheer pace. It doesn't matter who you are playing 9-0 is pretty impresive. I'll bet no one else scored 9 in this qualifying round. Some fantastic goals, and a really good team performance. Probably have to give Dave Pratt man of the match. A lot of smiling faces after the game. £3000 in the bank and in Monday's draw. Have we ever won 9-0 in a competative game before ?? Well done Mark, Tom and the lads. 😎

What was the Minehead score a few years back. If it wasn't more than 9 then I think we had a couple disallowed and of course Ryan Lobbs MOM performance in the Minehead goal. But if you hit 9 you're on your game. Top result.

9-0. Is it bad that it didnt flatter us at all? Honestly felt we could have gone 13. Thought from start to finish everyone was outstanding. The subs made an impact also. The strength in depth shows real quality and shows anyone can fight for a starting place in this team. Real professional performance. That could have gone the other way but after 2 minutes i had no doubt Mark and Tom had them up for it and we would win. Superb lads. Keep it going.

Or was his name Ryan Chip? 😂

A very professional performance from the boy's in my opinion, who maintained their composure through-out the whole 90 minutes on Saturday, despite continual provocation from the opposition, and very little protection from the match officials. Moneyfields could not cope with our pace on the counter-attach, and a number of our goals came from these situations. When you consider we played without our 2 regular full backs, this just demonstrates the strength we have in depth now. The arrogance of the Moneyfields players and officials when they arrived at the ground had to be heard to be believed, and they got exactly what they deserved - an absolute tonking, and the state of Chris Allen's shin after the game would not have been shown on any X-rated film, it was that gruesome. How all 3 officials missed that stamp in the first few minutes beggars belief. Looking forward to the draw at lunchtime when I think the National North & South teams enter ? Correct me if I'm wrong on this. COYMB
