Junior attendance

I know the club does a lot for juniors ie if you play for chippenham town you get a free pass.
Now there are a lot of other teams in Chippenham  do they get a reduced priced ticket?
Now my son has just turned 16 I was informed  he is now an adult, I know a lot of people are not aware that they now have to be in education  until they are 18, if I was not a parent who came to watch the bluebirds would I give them £10 to watch local  football  answer NO.
Would I give them £3 yes and that's another person plus a mate through the gate.
Student card not if still at school apparently.

Re: Junior attendance

Anything that will get the youth of Chippenham watching the Bluebirds will be a good thing. If you look around the ground you will see that the average age of the spectators is well above 50 and to sustain the club for the future we need some people to replace those loyal supporters and servants of the club we hold minutes silences before what seems like every other home game . "We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want."

Re: Junior attendance

Surely you should only be charged adult prices WHEN YOU ARE AN ADULT - ie aged 18? And even then if you're still in education you should only pay concession rate.

No doubt Chippenham won't be the only club in our league doing this but that isn't the point - getting and keeping fans through the gate should be priority over making a few extra quid each week.

Re: Junior attendance

So after all the notices in club saying juniors 16 to 18 it seems no one has the right information and I was charged £10 for a 16 year old still in full time education  as they have to be until 18.
So could someone please confirm  what they should be paying.
much appreciated.

Re: Junior attendance

A few years back on the forum, I asked could I get a concession as I had just become unemployed at the age of 41.

A person not officially associated with the club told me to go and get a job..
