Tomorrow evening we welcome Cinderford Town to Hardenhuish Park. Last seasons Southern league South West Champions. A club that two months ago was in turmoil. They refused promotion because of the extras costs involved in the Southern Premier, but the FA ruled they must play in our league or resign. They lost there Manager, there Chairman and a lot of there players but the community rallied round the football club. And They have completely reformed the club. They have a new Chairman, a new Management team and they have rebuilt the football team. They have three points from there first three games. It's a game we will be looking to take maximum points from, but it won't be easy. I know the lads are up for the game after the two last away performances. We need to start fast as we have in our last two games. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads. Let's get the result we need. 😎

1-0 but far from convincing. We need to play better than that against unbeaten and leaders Leamington on Sat

Good three points. First half felt like a pre-season game against lower league opposition, with us having all the possession against a team set up 4-5-1. They showed a bit more ambition in the second half but I could only see them scoring from a set piece. We'll have to get used to teams coming here and defending deep, though I would expect better teams to have more of a go. On another day we'd have scored 4 or 5 but that'll do. Seemed like a decent crowd too, with plenty of noise. COYB!

Frustrating from an entertainment point of view for the crowd but 1-0 wins will all count come the end of the season when the points are tallied but let's hope it doesn't go down to goal difference!!

3 points as yet again a team come just to defend. Winning is hard in this league,so we should be happy. No Guthrie and Beedon sat in stand.

Let's put this result into perspective guys. Cinderford came to Hardenhuish with a game plan to stop CTFC playing their flowing, passing game, and it nearly worked for them. As many teams will do this season, they parked the entire team and the team bus in front of their goal, and only came out of their defensive shell when we scored a very good goal. If we can grind out results like this against these types of teams, that will keep us near the top of this league. We are second, 2 points behind Leamington who come here on Saturday. In my view this will be a much different game to last night's, with potentially the best footballing sides in the SPL battling for the points. Thought Will Richards and Smithy had awesome games last night, with WIll continually showing us why he is one of the top players in the SPL. Lets also hope for a 500+ crowd for Saturday's game. Last night's crowd of 372 was excellent for an evening game. COYB

I agree with Toyboy as I think that Leamington will come with the attitude that they can turn us over. So this should be a much more open game with both sides in attacking mode. Some times we will need to grind out results like last night, but it's still 3 points on the board. Lets hope Leamington bring a few fans as it's boring taunting each other. The difference is we will have Leamington coming to play football and get a result against us which we all know is going to be difficult with our striking options and importantly the way we are playing at the moment. Cinderford as expected just came for the day out and the draw. I was so encouraged by last night as in the past we have had a tendency to give these teams what they want from us and not break them down and last night we did 1-0 and 10 points from 12 heading into arguably our hardest opponent this season. This will be a real indicator for me whether its delusions of grandeur winning this league or if we have a genuine chance of doing so
