Took my first look at the new squad in training last night, and I know it's very difficult to guess who the manager will have as the nucleus of his team/squad for next season, but the 20 first team squad look extremely fit, enthusiastic and obviously desperate to impress the management team. It was good to see Connor back to his old self, and he, as did the lads, put in one hell of a shift last night. I like the look of the new guy Miles. He is very, very quick, direct and will cause teams all sorts of problems with his speed and directness if selected. Pratty, well what can you say, full of enthusiasm and appears to be forming a solid bond with Andy and Ben Whitehead. The whole squad seem very comfortable together, with the usual banter that goes with pre-season. I am extremely optimistic for next season having seen the squad now, with plenty of competition for the starting 11 places, and I look forward to this Saturday when we take on Malmesbury Vics. COYB

Good to here that Connor is fully fit again toyboy. We have missed his surging runs down the wing. A fully fit Connor is a big asset to the club. I've not seen many wingers run passed a fit Connor. Looking forward to seeing you on the pitch and not in the bar. See you and Mick Saturday as long as the plane from Croatia gets back to Bristol on time. 😎
