Many thanks indeed  for your very kind congratulations 1cooky to everyone one has been recognized by the club for their efforts over last season, and yes Angela is my wife. Both of us were totally taken by surprise to be awarded Clubman of the Year, along with Andrea Grafton. Perhaps I should explain the nature of the award. Angela and myself, along with Andrea, look after the VIP Lounge prior to the CTFC home games. We provide and 2 course home cooked meal for the match sponsors and Vice Presidents. We were asked to take over when Jackie and Richard Coleman decided to pursue other interests. To say we enjoy what we do for CTFC is an understatement, and we have been asked to continue next season. Saturday's are now totally full with CTFC activities, as I start my pre-match tidy up about 7am, then once finished, washed and changed start the preparation of the VIP meals. If anyone fancies sampling what is on offer, for £25 you get entry into the game, a 2 Course meal with beer, wine etc. Half time refreshments which is usually Angela's home made cakes, and tea/coffee - good value I feel.

Clubman of the Year for me is the most important award of the lot. Both my Mother and Father are previous recipients of this award and echoing George's words. Without the hard work and dedication of the people that give up there time to do the behind the scenes work this club simply would not have been able to function. So here's to Tony and his good wife and here's to the next season I feel the conference south awaits us!!
