Just want to say a huge congratulations to Mark and Tom, The Team and The Board for ultimately giving us tired Chippenham lads a season of hope, good football and exciting times. It is a crying shame crowds haven't reflected our achievements on the field this year but hopefully next year we can build on this and once again give ourselves a good chance at getting out of the most difficult league going!! Some players have been superb this season and really stood out. All in all at the start of this season would we have taken our finishing position and the season we have had? I hope this is just the start. This year anyone of the top 12 teams could have been deserving of a playoff spot the league has been closer than ever before and a lot of teams had great seasons. The teams coming down are going to find this a very difficult league and the teams coming up better be ready!! So here's to next season and lets give the lads the best possible send off on Saturday COME ON YOU BLUES

You've had a great season, selfishly I'm glad you didn't get promoted as we need more local games. See you next year!

To be honest I am a little bit miffed we didn't make the playoffs and extend the season just that little bit longer but every cloud has a silver lining we have gone from relegation candidates to playoff nearly men in the space of a few short months. Management have to take credit where it is due here. If we had a bad season then the usual few would want heads to roll but I am glad we are taking consistency into next year. That shows a project is in place that people believe in instead of just having a crack every year with a quick fix. Fingers crossed this season marks a turning point for us and we get back to where we should be. Knocking on the door of winning this league and getting to the Conference South!!

Give credit where credit is due we have enjoyed a very good season. Yes I'm disappointed that we did not quite make the play-off's, and apart from that disasterous blip in March when a number of players went AWOL during games, I think we would have made it. The SPL is arguably the most difficult league to gain promotion from, and we've been in 3 play-off finals since 2002 and came second in everyone, so perhaps there is a lesson there. Next season will be even harder I feel, with some quality teams coming down from the National South, but I hope the managerial team have got player targets in mind to hopefully take us to the next level. A town the size of Chippenham needs to be in the National South, and hopefully next season we will do it. COYB

With losing Paulton shame it now doesn't look like either Bath or Weston will be coming down
