Re: Mighty Frome v Chippers

On my way back from watching Frome  beat Paulton which pushed our points tally up to 50, I swear I saw a couple of wheels at least careering down the main A46 I thought to my self that surely can't be the wheels from the Chippos pro-mo push falling off, can it ? Looks like it was just that. See you next season boys  chokers.

Don't disagree - still at least we don't support Swindon

Nothing along the lines of
Sandell 30k a year
Matt Smith £200 a week
Bally £250 a week with the chairman putting 50k of his own money in over the course of the season

Re: Mighty Frome v Chippers

It took me all of 15 minutes to decipher your post Stratford, blimey, more school boy errors in the post than your defence has made recently. True, the season isn't over yet but I'm afraid it's looking all rather academic for your boys now, shame

PS don't believe all the silly stories you hear in the playground about the stories of what Frome Town pay players, cut the figures in half and you will be nearer the truth.

Re: Mighty Frome v Chippers

Sandell works for the club full time and brings in money. our budget is 2000. Couldnt be further from the real figures. As for bally 250 a week i dont think ive ever laughed so much. Maybe 150 - 180. I know youre paying mcphee 300+ and id say same for the lad you took from bath. You offered him more than bath.

Re: Mighty Frome v Chippers

If Smith's on £200 a week he's taking money under false pretences judging by today's performance.

For crying out loud, you're just plucking figures from the sky. What is the source of your information?

Re: Mighty Frome v Chippers

all this "budget" stuff is a bit annoying but let's look at the facts. Sandell is on £25K, if we assume 40 week season and your budget is £2000 as stated that leaves £55K or £1375 per week, 15 in the matchday squad so an average of £91 per player per week, before tax and national insurance so netting them about £65. No wonder they were all so keen to join Chippenham!

And another fact, if the budget truly is £2000 per week, that's still bigger than Frome's,
