This is a huge game for both sides, it's a game that we just do not want to lose. A win for us would put us three points ahead of Hitchin with a better goal difference having played a game more. Hitchin will also arrive desperate to take something away from the game. They have the always dangerous Jonny McNamara, and there young skipper Alasan Ann, both played really well when we drew 1-1 down at there place, but we have the players to deal with them. Nothing will be decided on this game alone, but a win for us would be massive. I'm hoping Andy is fit and that the rest of the squad have benefited from the extended break. Good luck to Mark, Tom and that's lads. Let's get the result were desperate for. 😎

Honours even at 1-1 and both controversial but we deserved 3 pts more than they did. Terribly inconsistent ref but Kent could have had an early bath instead of yellow for silly retaliation, so perhaps I should hold fire on that

Don't agree I think a draw was a fair result. We just about deserved to be in front at half time but Hitchin had the better of the second half. Bit baffled by the team selection. Midfield was so unbalanced with, in my view 3 defensive midfield players in Pook, Allen and Jones, and 1 attacking midfielder in Ferguson who I thought had a really good game. Meant forwards had little support and with no width time after time yesterday a midfield player had the ball around centre circle and only option was to pass the ball back as noone out wide. It was as if the wings were a no entry area for us and it wasn't until Bally came on that saw anyone going down the right. Made a change yesterday not to see the opponents time wasting ( and being allowed to get away with it)) but I suppose Hitchin were after the 3 points as much as we were.

That was a compelling game to watch - could have gone either way. Unfortunately I don't think Ollie Taylor is the best option alongside Griff. He does get up a head of steam occasionally but, considering his size, he's not strong enough and aggressive enough for me. In fact it was him who gave away possession which led to them going down our end and getting the penalty. Looks like we'll have to go with what we've got though. It must be very difficult to attract a proven goalscorer at this stage of the season. Thought Leigh Henry did ok. He's clearly not an "athlete" but he's experienced and will prove useful in the run in I'm sure.

Olly looks like a impact player, good game with lots at stake. Henry very solid although a centre back. Looked strong defensively, which is a base to work from.Lowest league position is 6th, credit deserved to all. One final push, come on boys !
