Chippenham Town v Stratford Town.
We had an off day at Frome, but I thought we we're still worth a draw, Ollie should have headed in a late equaliser, but sometimes it's not your day. The pitch at Frome was very heavy and it was difficult to get any sort of passing game going. We now have to regroup and move on. Mark will be looking for a response to that result today, hopefully we will start very fast and maintain a high tempo to the game. Stratford looked a good side when we played on there pitch but they don't travel so well. There form has also dropped off lately. We need to win today to stay ahead of the grouped pack now closing in on us. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the boys 😎. Cum on you Bluebirds.

Great result. Poole going down 3-0 at Ciren too. Only team I backed today was us, didnt fancy any of the other games and it paid off. Quite a few draws too, unusual in this league.
Unfortunately I had a rare foray into the NPL .....and that didnt come off. Last weeks gains almost wiped out.
Important thing is we won!
Want a bare knuckle fight? I'll knock you out you Cnut.

Hard earned win with everyone giving their all, but in my opinion the outstanding player was Jay Malpas with one goal and an assist, he looked lively throughout the game and we must try and get his loan period extended to the end the season. The only down side was Andy going off with hamstring problems. This is the last thing we wanted for the run in to the business end of the season.
It looks like my wish in a previous post came to be right with Poole losing and Redditch winning but look like having points deducted( couldn't make it 3 points for each suspended player they fielded).
Now bring on the Welsh and another 3 points.

Agree with that, bench full of midfield players, maybe move one out and add forward player, Jones and Pook both surplus I think, Jones lightweight but maybe useful in run in.

And as Mark said on Friday we will need two Andy Sandells if we go up next year.
