Bit quiet on here tonight boys eh ?

Clearly a huge disappointment however the weather I'm sure played it's part. Difficult to play the passing style that Collier has instilled in the conditions we have had recently. I'm not in panic mode yet.

Agree with newfan that the weather/conditions played a part but then as they say it was the same for both teams. It was difficult to play a passing game on a heavy pitch and we tried too many clever little first time passes which just didn't come off. When we hit it long, which we did a lot, either straight up in the air or over hit. We had quite a few goal mouth scrambles and perhaps with a bit more luck we could have got something out of the game. Overall I think a draw would have been a fair result.

Bet Tindle and Preece had one of there tougher days playing us with Page up front as usually they have quite an easy ride but with Page he doesn't let defenders off easily and Kettering said there two centre backs had one of there toughest games against him on Tuesday.
You came out better 2nd half but didn't see anything special in your performance apart from that to be honest. Griffin looks a shadow of himself and looks like he should be in an OAP home and I see Bally hasn't lost his ability to moan at absolutely everything and be the first to the ref at every decision as well, funny that he wasn't so loud in the bar afterwards. Not sure how Sandell has got so many goals for you either he looks about two stone overweight.
Anyway you can carry on with your promotion push and we can get back to our survival boost but have a feeling we will still be playing each other next season but we shall see.

Nothing to be jealous of.......yet......However.......if you go up or/and we go down then maybe but if we are both still in the same division next year not at all

Fromie, your postings on here have always been sensible and put across some good points but a bit disappointed with your latest posting. Maybe it's down to the shock of winning a game!. If I have read the stats on your own site correctly our "OAP" striker has scored more goals than any of your current players and played much fewer games so I think we'll stick with him rather than any of your prolific forwards. And as for Sandell in your opinion being overweight I bet you wouldn't mind having a striker no matter how overweight he was if he scored 20 goals for you. And as for the game itself you didn't deserve to win any more than we did. A draw would have been a fair result but at the end of the day you got the ball in the net and we didn't.

I wouldn't mind a 20 goal striker at all as we haven't had one since Mark salter played for us but we don't have a chairman that can pay one 25k and give him a company car unfortunately
I still don't get what you disagree with, Griffin looked a shadow of himself to me, he has ALWAYS done well against us but done absolutely nothing did he not?
Bally was first to the ref moaning every decision no?
And Sandell done nothing either?
They obviously have for you to be where you are but going on the game against us them 3 things are correct you can't deny that?
You lost to Kettering, scraped past Paulton and lost to us so worrying times for you and whether you say you deserved a draw not many did and Collier certainly didn't as he said we deserved the win on the Wiltshire times?
But yeah I will take the win for sure we certainly need it

Yes very worrying indeed, to be in the play offs. Idiot
You just come across as jealous fella. Better get yourself a new chairman then!!
20+ goals a season for an overweight striker, imagine how many he'd get if he shed a few pounds.
Got luck with the relegation dog fight
