Also left... Holgate, Harvey and Phillips now departed.
Best wishes to all 3.
Wonder if this gives us some budget wriggle room for a new striker to partner Sandell?

I must have missed this bit of new regarding Lee Phillips departing newfan. I've looked on the Club Website and no mention there. Also looked on the Wiltshire Gazette, which is usually a good source for information, and again no announcement. Can you enlighten us where this originated from ? Have to agree though that assuming this is correct it should free up funds for a new striker. How about a friendly wager on who the manager has in mind? My guess is Nick McCoottee from Bath City. Hauled off at half-time last Saturday and replaced by David Pratt. Apparently stormed out of the ground before the end of the game.

I've just spoken to a work colleague Ronnie, and he said exactly the same as your good self. Seems odd that there is no official statement from CTFC on Phillo though. Assuming the manager does have his target(s), and I'm sure he does, let's hope we have some new blood in the squad before the Hungerford game, and I hope it is the young gentleman I mentioned in my earlier post. The club now has an excellent opportunity to push for promotion now, and any new signing(s) will send out a message and statement to the rest of the SPL that CTFC are going for it. We have come close so many times at this level, but I feel the time is right now to have a crack at the National League S/W Division. COYB

Now confirmed on club website, good luck for the future Lee always gave his all when on the pitch. Now lets see the club show their ambition by signing a great partner for Andy to push us to promotion.

I'm not really surprised Lee is leaving the club, he has been plagued by injuries for the last couple of seasons. He was a class act when fit, always gave his all, and what I really liked about Lee he really hated to loose. A lot of our young players learnt a lot from him. He would make a very good manager with his knowledge of the game and desire and passion to win. Good luck for the future Lee. 😎

Unlike George I rarely remember dreams but I woke up this morning convinced we'd signed Charlie Austin. Sadly I think Southampton might beat us to him. I'll keep off the cheese.
Happy Christmas!
