Agree, no panic, no one said it would be easy, little out of form but sure that will change. lets enjoy being part of the play off race. Did see the Chairman and manager in deep discussion, cv time again maybe.

Agree with much what has been said already but would like to add a bit to the thread. Missed Greg at the back and I'm sure that he would have tidied up and not been so rash as to give away the penalty. Up front what was going on? Holgate is not the man to partner Andy. He can't hold the ball and when he does win it he doesn't know what to do with it. We would be better starting with Taylor, who at least showed he was up for it and maybe Campbell instead of Guthrie would have had more impact.
Yes watched " Class of 92" maybe a rollicking like their managers gave them would do our lads a bit of good. Lets not worry about Bridgwater but we need to give Paulton a hammering and then move on to the big one with Poole who will be out for revenge after we did them at their place.
Come on lads lets get the season back on track. COYB
Can anyone tell me what the situation is with Lee Phillips, injured ? out of favour? still with the club? we miss his passion and aggression.

Revisiting last season I think. Last season our main problem was we couldn't score and if you look at the last 10 league games we have managed 2 wins and have only scored more than 1 goal on two occasions. Early in the season we were playing teams who, apart from one or two, will finish in the lower half of the league. More recently we have been playing better teams and as the results show have struggled. Well yesterday. apart from the first 15 minutes or so we were totally outplayed by a good rather than a great Redditch side. Our passing was dire support play was dire in fact can't think of anything positive. When Redditch attacked the man with the ball had 3 or 4 players running up field to support him when we got the ball in a forward position the player with the ball, normally Andy Sandell, had no support at all.We hardly ever attack down the wings its mostly down the middle and yesterday the Redditch defenders hardly had to over stretch themselves.

Think you've forgotten why he missed the match saturday...

Yes but I heard as far as the linesman was concerned he got the ball and it shouldn't have been a penalty

We, need to improve our form a little. Its a bit 'mid table' at the moment.
I got panned for that before the Weymouth game. It's not picked up. - but, keep the faith!

Thinking on past seasons our form often slips around this time... we definitely appear to be reverting to a long ball game with isolated strikers and a big gap to supporting attacking central midfielders - just like we did with Alan Griffin up front in the past. The "new system" isn't being implemented to my eyes

The important thing is that we focus on what makes Chippenham strong at the moment play to our strengths and for the love of god take the chances that come our way. It's frustrating because we create chances and they come every game its just about having the killer instinct to take those chances. Redditch didn't look much better than us Saturday just looked much more up for it and took the chances they created and it cost us big. Same with Maidstone and same with Dorchester in the F.A Competitions. Should be a straight forward game against Bridgwater but we need to get back to winning ways in the league. Get ourselves in the playoffs and who knows what could happen. Good run of form, a bit of luck and getting out of this league may be a possibility
