Weymouth

This would otherwise be a massive game; however I feel that  Town's attention will be elsewhere!
I have a mate who is a Weymouth supporter who is coming to the game with me. I rather feel he will be the happier of the two of us! I'll go 2-1 to Weymouth.
I was hoping that the web site would have a poster promoting the FAC4QR game? What an opportunity to promote CTFC at work etc.
I think that the 'Pitchero' web site is a waste of time!

Re: Weymouth

Still a massive game and potential 6 pointer. Depends who wants it most -  I'd be happy with a good performance and at least one point to keep the confidence high and the undefeated home record intact. We need to go into the game on Sat off the back of such a game

The poster has just gone live on the website. We also have a promo video for the match to be released on Wednesday.

Re: Weymouth

This is a whopping game for both clubs. Our attention should be firmly on this.  Early in the season I know, but looking at the positions its a crucial game. We, need to improve our form a little. Its a bit 'mid table' at the moment. Additionally scalps like Weymouth will count at the end of the season - They won't be far away.
For thier part, they are coming off the back of a defeat against an in form Biggleswade.

Got draw written all over it.

Re: Weymouth

Im not negative I just have high expectations!  You applaud the lack of defeats - me too, but..... Too many draws. In simpler terms we've won 3 of our last 10 league games.

Re: Weymouth

This is as important a game as any! I agree with George to be honest this has to be as prioritized as saturday for me. Come the end of the season looking back these are the difference makers. The 1st round is a lovely dream for someone of our level but in reality saturday we are going to make very good money off the tie itself and throwing all our eggs in one basket is rash. Play the boys tonight, take the game to Weymouth and lets get a result and saturday shouldnt realistically be affected with 12-15 fit and healthy young lads. Subtle changes maybe but certainly wouldn't be sacrificing our opportunity to go as high as 2nd

Re: Weymouth

TheVoice - I agree with your thoughts entirely on the importance of this evening's game. Took at look at Weymouth's Forum yesterday, and they are very conscious of their team's current stuttering form. Stewart Yetton, who always seems to score against us, is not firing on all cylinders currently, and there is concern over Jason Matthews (Manager) form in goal. I'm sure our Manager is aware of this and will capatalise where possible. Hope Preecy is fit for tonight, as the defence is much more solid with him in the team - COYB

Re: Weymouth

Just think that come the end of the season we would look back with regret if we didnt make the playoff's or better but did make it to the 1st round proper. The league has to be the priority over one big pay day and even if we prioritize saturdays game there is no guarantee we will beat Maidstone. League is a priority cup is a bonus and we have had a good run in the FA Cup already made some decent cash so now league is the focus and the F.A Cup is a nice chance at a bit of bonus cash. Still would love to win and make the 1st round big draw Portsmouth away ideally huge gate and a good day out, space for Chippenhams travelling hords. #lostinadreamworld

Re: Weymouth

1-1 Good response from the goal down and sounded like a decent game.
