Having just seen that Didcot had 14 put past them in their county cup match by MK Dons, does anyone know if the Wilts premier trophy is taking place this year and if so who will be competing. As Salisbury now play in the Wessex league to they still qualify for this or are they in the senior cup with the likes of Melksham ? If thats the case who will take their place ? when are the games scheduled ? These would be an unwanted extra commitment with our current league and cup run.

Yep Salisbury in the senior cup now and Swindon youth have better things to do so we have a great chance of making the final this year.

Chippenham Town are the Current Holders of The Wiltshire Premier Shield having won it in the 2010-2011 Season , the Competition has not been played for since .
The 1st Winners were Swindon Town in 1927 and they won in for the next 6 seasons , the cup has been played every season until 2010/11 apart from the following seasons
1934 /35 /36 ,39 to 45 ,63 and 64,and 1983/84
We have won the Shield in 1965/66 ,1986/87,1988/89,2001/02,2003/04,2004/05,2005/06and 2010/11

Salisbury are in the Wilts Senior Cup this season as are Chippenham Park and both have progressed to the Second Round ,Salisbury with a 6.1 win at Wroughton and Park with a Walkover

Chippenham Town Under 18s are in the Wilts F A Youth Cup and are in the second Round Draw
