Re: FA Cup next round

What a tough draw that is. Thank goodness it's at home. We'll get one shot at this.

Re: FA Cup next round

Got to be said its a bad draw for us

Underdogs due to their higher level and the fact they are 5th in the Conference South

And not a big draw for either home or away fans.

Tough test but it could have been worse

Re: FA Cup next round

Colin Murray who did the commentary on the draw on Talk Sport and was at Uxbridge on Saturday. Was very complementary about our performance. At least were home.

Re: FA Cup next round

I'd be hoping 90 mins from round 1 it would be a big draw. Basingstoke Away was. REMEMBER BASINGSTOKE! COYB

Re: FA Cup next round

I still think we will have the home advantage and I am quietly confident we can come through this one. Like I have said previously it could have been a hell of a lot worse. And the position in Conf South I believe is false based on there quality they will slip away. Heart and a clear head doing the basics right will see us into Round 1 and a big tie against league 1 opposition

Re: FA Cup next round

Home draw against a very well supported club, so should be a big gate.  Maidstone fans have been through the mill over the past 20 years, good to see them on the up again, though hopefully we can make them "concentrate on the league" :-)

Re: FA Cup next round

No Replay needed. We got too much to focus on with the league so I think we shall just get the job done at Hardenhuish Park ;) Going to be bold here and go for a 2-1 Chippenham win. We have the best striker in the league in Sandell at the moment and I think that would ring true for the Conference South as well. We have no reason to fear these lot, our record against Conference South sides is very good and these guys are beatable

UP THE BLUES!!

Re: FA Cup next round

If we are reaching the 1st round again,... this is as decent a team we've had for a while. Collier knows how to get a team through, he ochestrated Bath Citys exit by Supermarine. Keep everyone fit and we're in with a shout.
