Unlike Chippenham and several other local sides e.g. Mangos, St Neots have not been thrown out of the FA Cup for breaking the rules, they have been ordered to replay

And there I was just thinking it was FIFA that was corrupt. You are right they should have been thrown out and fined like we were.

Perhaps someone from CTFC could challenge the FA to comply with the Freedom of Information Act and ask them how they arrived at this decision. Our friends now based at Wembley are surely accountable just like any other business, and should freely disclose the process on how they arrived at this unbelievable decision. I also seem to remember 2 or 3 seasons ago againt St. Neot's at home, there was an incident between Ben John and one of their player's which irrupted into WW3. CTFC were fined for not controlling their players over the incident, and St.Neot's little angels were cleared of any wrong doing, but video evidence clearly prooved beyond all dought the St. Neots guy threw a punch or a kick first. The FA I believe refused to view the video evidence on some technicality - Double Standards indeed !!!

If the Club won't request information under the FoI Act, then why don't the Supporters' Club have a go?

The player in question was a newly signed keeper.

Official statement on Tilbury site says they are disappointed with the FA's decision as an FA rule had been breached. Can't see how freedom of information would help us at present time - be better off having a whip round for Tilbury to supply lawyers to take FA to court - only way to shake up this cozy club of Blazers.

TILBURY STATEMENT
St Neots Fixture
Following Tuesday nights postponement to the replay of St Neots vs Tilbury in the FA Cup due on 15th September, the FA have informed both clubs of the outcome of their investigation. The FA have advised both Tilbury and St Neots, following a charge against St Neots regarding an ineligible player featuring in the original tie, the FA were satisfied with the explanation and evidence supplied by them. Therefore, the decision has been made for St Neots to remain in the competition. The FA have ordered for the tie to be replayed to a conclusion at Tilbury Football Club on Tuesday 22nd September at 19:45.Tilbury are disappointed with the decision as an FA Cup rule had been breached but will respect the FAs decision on this matter. The player in question, Andrew Wilton, was registered for the match but an administrative oversight led to an FA investigation. Both clubs have been in contact and look forward to getting back to the football on Tuesday with the winners facing Worthing on Saturday 26th September
