Chippenham Town v Dorchester Town.

Hopefully what ever team we can put out, we will be right up for this game, those of us who were at Histon could see what a fired up motivated team can achieve. Good luck Mark, Tom & the boys. 😎

Re: Chippenham Town v Dorchester Town.

Could have easily been a goal up after 30 seconds but were a goal down after a minute. But the lads showed great spirit to come back and win against probably the best side they've played this term. Can't understand why Sandell started as he was not match fit. Surely better to make sure he's 100% before risking him. 2 away and 1 home match this coming week, it's going to hard to keep our unbeaten record. But who cares tonight we are still " TOP OF THE LEAGUE" Keep the faith.

Re: Chippenham Town v Dorchester Town.

Frankly a very flattering scoreline - gifted them a goal within a minute and but for a lino's flag we would have been 2 down . Was Tindle fit because he seemed to start very slowly and got a silly yellow card which could easily have been turned into a red after his tangle with Dorchester's No.4 . Too many wayward passes - I lost count of how often we found a yellow shirt. Campbell's goal was a nice strike at the end however which put a shine on the day. Agree that playing Sandell seemed an odd decision

Re: Chippenham Town v Dorchester Town.

The early goal put us on the back foot and we could have conceded again, but as the game wore on I thought we came more into it.  Tindle did seem to start sluggishly but no-one can criticise him for his effort - he was outstanding in second half in my humble, as were a lot of our lads.  Pook and Smith ran the game.  Looks like Sandell pulled a hamstring which isn't good news.  Presumably he declared himself fit after a lot of physio this week but wouldn't be surprised to see him miss a few games now.  Great move by their management to take off the big number 9 - he was a handful, clearly not injured as he ran off - was glad to see the back of him.  All in all I thought we deserved it and played some good football at times.  Well done lads.
Hope their lad who got hospitalised (or "Tindle'd") is ok by the way.

Re: Chippenham Town v Dorchester Town.

Good result after being one down in first minute. Towards end of first half, which led to our first goal we started to play good football, and continued through second half. Dorchester played some good football going forward but were poor at the back. Excellent strike from  young Campbell. IMO mom was Smith or Preece.

Spoke to Tom. Sandells knee passed fitness test. but now has hamstring strain, Was 100% at kick off.

He may have passed a fitness test but would have never been 100%...however excellent result!!
