Not the best of starts

Re: Hemel 2 -1 Chippenham

Nope, not the best of starts, but plenty of positives. Ballinger looks good, Griffin still carrying last years form. Interesting to hear the Rudge has stepped down as a player and is going to focus on managing after being sent off, it was the correct decision.

Re: Hemel 2 -1 Chippenham

Same old Chippenham thats the last game I'll be watching this season. Rudge hardly sets the standard does he? Ok so hes not playing again but what else could he say? Mid table mediocrity awaits again I'm afraid and budget cuts by Christmas if we don't reach the third round of the FA Cup Qualifying Round

Re: Hemel 2 -1 Chippenham

Cheer up Cooky, try watching the Park they put on a great display yesterday to beat Malborough 6-1 and no one got sent off.I will not add any more misery to Nathan as watching your playing career implode must be grim plus the fact of making his managers job more than tricky at the same time ,genius !

Re: Hemel 2 -1 Chippenham

Shame about the result but it definatly wasn't derserved. A point or 3 would have been fair as the amount of chances over 90 mins was more than double there's. Grass was long and heat didn't help but same for both sides but if we create chances like that every week we are going to be entertaining and scoring goals. Yes Rudge did wrong but I think he will learn from this and now he has announced he is going to manage more it gives a good oppertunity to someone else. I still think he should keep hiself fit as we will no dowt need his experience this season but for people from other clubs hide under different names trying to un settle the ship is gutless . Anyway il be there on tues with my 3 mates from work cheering the lads on

You won't be missed, as the club doesn't need supporters like you who make comments like yours after just one game.

Re: Hemel 2 -1 Chippenham

As Andy has said who was at the game,we played well especially after going down to ten men,we created chance after chance in the last twenty mins. The group of Hemel fans we chatted to could not beleive they had won the game on the balance of play. Nathan knows he made a big mistake, but he was big enough to hold his hands up and apologise. Two tough games to come this week Weymouth Tue and Cambridge Sat,were keeping the faith. Its one game, yes its bloody disapointing and its a game we should have won,but the way we battled until the final whistle gives me a lot optimism. Oh and good bye Cooky.
