Our Holgate is better than Everton's Holgate ? Ash has come on in leaps and bounds since last season in my view. He is not an 'out and out' striker, and to be honest I'm not even sure what his natural or strongest position is !! He does take a lot of pressure off Andy Sandell, and has the abitlity to bring other players into goal scoring opportunities. I think we are lucky to have him, because clearly he could play at a much higher standard. Keep it coming Ash !!  COYB

I do not think Ash is ever going to be a prolific goal scorer for CTFC in all honesty hobgoblin. As you rightly say he does seem to lack a bit of confidence in front of goal, for fear of missing the target I guess. I do remember the belter he scored against Poole Town last season though, to clinch the 3 points for us, and to what was the start of a massive demise for them !! Hope they don't take it out on us next Tuesday. Unfortunately will miss tomorrow's game and the game at PTFC next Tuesday as we will be on holiday up North. My little lad has found a mid-week game for us to go and watch - Billingham Symphonia v's Whitley Bay, so I will need to brush up my dreadfull impression of a geordie accent !!!
