Post 335....  Web use is changing, much of what we know about the internet is now history ( matter of time before we get a history of course at uni) and this was apparant during my time on the 'Beak. The vast majority of users spending a short time looking and then moving on rather than engaging. - If you think about it, the competition just wasnt there 10 years ago when the 'Beak opened its....er... Beak. Nowadays most people will hit here/the club website and move on to tell 456 friends what they're having for dinner, or to repost a total fabrication as fact (maybe things haven't changed...) But one thing remains true. Content is king.  You cant sit behind a website or forum and complain nobody comes, you have to bait the trap. As indeed SN15 has. When people stop talking about you as an entity, for good or bad, then you're losing your audience.
When I finally put the 'Beak in the cage the domain was valued at around £700 due to the amount of traffic it got - We'll never know here as it belongs to boardhost. I still own the domain - it could rise again.
